The Harwood Hooter

Over the past year, Harwood has had a lot of important visitors, including Bernie Sanders and the ambassador from Finland, but on Monday (March 27th) we had the most important visitor of them all. A barred owl, sitting under a stone bench outside the middle school, was causing quite a commotion among teachers. Our feathered friend was spotted around lunchtime, then brought inside. Since the owl seemed to be hurt, VINS came from Quechee to pick it up. If it is able to recover, it will be brought back to Harwood and released.

So this is what teachers do when they’re supposed to be teaching us
Reports from VINS say that the owl is not doing well, but stay tuned for the next chapter of Hooters of Harwood!
