Molly Potter
Senior Molly Potter is interested in dance, being a leader, and helping others. Potter has always wanted to help people from a young age. Some time ago, her mother had an organ transplant. Molly saw how well the doctors treated her mother; this influenced her choice of career.
Molly is involved and has been involved with dance for ten years, since she was seven years old. Along with dance she’s involved with with Best Buddies and is the president of the club. She has had the same buddy, Destiny Mason, for about three years and they have a strong friendship.
Molly would like to start up a Best Buddies club at University of Southern Maine (USM) where she will be attending next fall for nursing. She will also minor in Biology and be a member of the school’s scholar program.
“I’ve had a great experience here at Harwood because I’ve taken advantage of what they have to offer academically. I’ve taken full advantage of their multiple pathways program so I’ve really been able to connect my life passions to my learning during high school through independent studies, VTVLC, taking dual enrollment courses, and having an internship this year in the pediatric medical field, which is what I am looking to go into,” said Molly.
Molly would also recommend that every student use the opportunities at hand and make their high school experience one of their own.
