Fury

Fury

Fury is not your typical World War II movie. The story follows the lives of a five-man tank crew. The characters range from a rookie soldier, with no concept of how to work in a tank crew, to a battle hardened leader who has his own set of morals and teaching methods. The growth of these characters really drag you in, but the story is so different than other war movies that you become thoroughly immersed in the war story. Fury doesn’t glorify war, instead it shows how war changes men and how united soldiers become. Even though they think and feel differently about a similar experience, soldiers stay united. It’s not a happy story, and it’s very intense. My only criticism is that there are some scenes that drag on a little longer than needed. Other than that the characters and plot reign supreme among most modern war movies. I give it a 9.5 stars out of 10.
