Ava Thurston is State Champion for 4th Year

Ava Thurston, 17, won her fourth State Championship in Cross Country at Thetford on Saturday, October 30th. Harwood girls nabbed 1st place in Division 2, and were just two points behind Burlington High School in overall teams. Thurston had the fastest time for girls with 19 minutes and 29 seconds. The Harwood Girls Cross Country team qualified for New Englands, which will be held at Thetford on November 13th.
