Every year the senior class leaves behind a gift with leftover money from the class’s bank account. The majority of this money came from selling trees as sophomores and selling prom tickets as juniors. This year the senior class decided to leave behind a very useful gift that the school has needed for years: bleachers.

Harwood does not provide outdoor seating for sporting events for fans who have to bring their own chair or sit on the cold ground or stand for a long time. These bleachers will provide a more enjoyable experience for fans of Harwood Sports. The bleachers cost upward of $6,000, but Harwood is hoping to get them for cheaper. The plan is to have bleachers near the track and bleachers near the new soccer field which are most often used.
